Dr. Ash is a specialty trained veterinarian in the greater Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. He has many years of advanced training with small animals (dogs/cats) and also has a wealth of experience dealing with exotics species (coyotes, tigers, etc).
His clinical interests include small animal surgery (elective and emergency surgery), vehicular trauma, blood transfusion medicine, rattle snake bites, organ disease (kidney/heart/liver failure)and rare small animal diseases. Prior to obtaining his DVM from world renowned Colorado State University, where he served as class president, Dr. Ash performed molecular research in the UCLA Cardiology Department. After graduation from CSU, Dr. Ash spent 3 additional years receiving advanced specialty training in small animal surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ash is an avid photographer and generous philanthropist. He donates a significant amount of his time to animal rescue groups. A techie at heart, Dr. Ash also spends a lot of time working on his techie ideas and how he's going to invent the next 'big thing' for animals. |
